*this was originally a "venting" email to Lisa. She said it was funny and that I should make it a short story. So, go on, have a good laugh at my expense :)
So, Isaac and John started class today and Cara had a seminar. She called me and asked if I could watch her kids (on mon.) Which is never a problem b.c. they are so well behaved. Then last night little Isaac got a fever and it carried over to this morning. John dropped the girls off at 7am. I guess he had to wake the girls up early to get them ready and little Isaac woke up when they got here so they have all been cranky! I have never heard so many "NOOOO!!" "MINE!" or fake crying in my life! ha ha
Anyways, I was told there was no pediatrics on base so I called Tricare and there is one on base! I called to make an Appt. And they lady was like "How is 9?" This was at 7:45am. So, I asked my neighbor is she could watch emmy and monroe for an hour. She said she could but she had to leave her house at 9:40am. So, instead I borrowed a car seat from her. So, I loaded all three kids and brought them to the clinic (without my drivers license). So, the Dr. checks out Isaac and guess what he has? Nothing! Nothing but GAS! ha ha . Apparently I should be in for 3 days of terrible diarrhea! Not fun!
Then I come home and the kids are super duper grouchy and want goldfish. I give them goldfish and started to clean the house. When I am finished cleaning the house I notice it is really quiet. I go to Isaac's room and they had poured the goldfish onto his bed and were taking turns rolling in them! So, I had to take the vacuum out again and try to get all the crumbs ( I think I failed on that mission) Anywhoo, it's raining today and they are hyper and grumpy so I thought I would go to Chic-fil-a and just risk the no drivers license thing ha ha. So, I load them up and as I am pulling out of the driveway Big Isaac calls and says "Can you make me 2 sandwiches, I have 10min to eat" So I unload the kids and as I am making the sandwiches all I could think was "Did I really go to college for this?! To make sandwiches, change diapers, and vacuum gold fish!??" So, I burst into tears. Not the small ones but the crocodile ones with sobs ha ha. So, that is how Isaac found me. All he did was hold me and ask what was wrong and tell me he wanted to help if he could. Which was really sweet and made things surprisingly better! So, he eats and leaves again. And I reload the kids and go to chic-fil-a. OMG was it busy! I mean kids, military, old people everywhere! And of course all the people have to comment on how well behaved my kids are and how close they are in age ha ha I got tired of explaining and finally just decided to let people think I am a super skank that has 3 kids under the age of 2 and obviously it's not the same man! ha ha. So, they eat and I take them inside the play area. I chose the play area for 1 reason over Burger King on base. B.c. kids are suppose to be 3 and under! Well, apparently all the parents can't read b.c. it was full of older kids. And they kept trying to pick up emmy, monroe, and Isaac. So, I winded up leaving early! To top things off I ate chic-fil-a and bought a drink from starbucks...now I feel really fat! ha ha
Anywhoo. They are all down for naps now:) This has been my day thus far and it is only 1:00! AHHHHH!!!
Ps After I got 2 hours of peace, quiet, and Starbucks, and they got naps the rest of the day went awesome!
